Share Multi User YearBookAlive project with other
|
|
|
Multi User YearBookAlive lets users share their yearbook projects with others by creating the project in a shared folder. Once your friends open the projects at yearbook, the project will appear in your friend yearbookalive’s drop-down projects list. Any changes made to the yearbook project’s contents will alert instantaneously to everyone who is working on the yearbook project.

To share a yearbook project |

To share a yearbook project, the project has to be in a shared location. To create a New Project at shared location
|
|
1. Open your YearBookAlive program. |
|
|
2. Click on the “Create a new Yearbook project’ at the welcome screen. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. Enter the yearbook project name at the Yearbook name textbox; click at the folder button at the Create yearbook screen. This displays the folder browser dialog. Navigate to the shared folder and click OK |
|

|
4. Click at the create button at the Create yearbook project screen. This will create the yearbook project at the selected share location.

|
To open an existing yearbook project at the shared location |
|
|
To open an existing yearbook project, you must have read / write permissions on the project’s folder. You can work on the project just as the project locates at your hard drive.

1. Open your YearBookAlive program.
|
|
|
2. Click on the “Open an existing Yearbook project’ at the welcome screen.
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. Click at the folder button at the open yearbook project screen. This displays the file browser dialog.
|
|
|
|
|
|
4. Choose the desire project file and click open. This will add the project to the drop-down project list.
|
|
|
|
|
|
5. Click at the open button at the Create yearbook screen. This will open the yearbook project that at the selected location. |
